That Boy

Little Otter
BY STEPHEN "OTTER" OTTEN
That Boy That Dreamed Dreams.

That Dream That Lead Him To What He Was Meant To Be.

I Am Still That Boy.

That Boy Is Me…

"Otter

Is

Otter"

BY STEPHEN "OTTER" OTTEN
You showed us you were worthy to be taught.
We taught you to be unconventional.
You taught the ones that would stand in your place.
You still lead by example.

We have not forgotten who you are.
We gave you your name.
We still say what we used to.

Go and show the world who we are.
Say not what we do, for you know well it can't be said.
Protect us, like the ones before you protected you.

Pick up your chisel or brush.
Learn faster than they say is possible.
Do what they say is impossible,
and make the impossible possible.

We reserved your name in our history.
We let the new ones know who you are,
not just what you were.

We still protect you.
Just as you protect us.

When they ask about you, we smile.
We say what we always said.

That is all that is needed.
The rest they see by what you do,
What you create,
What you say in your art.

You still make us proud.
You still lead by example.

They ask why you do what you do:

We reply with what you remember.
We still say it with honor.
We reply with a smile:

and we say "Otter is Otter"

The fire is inside

BY STEPHEN "OTTER" OTTEN
I walk into war once more.
And once more, The greatest fighter in the world walks beside me.

Most would say no two artist could ever change the world.

We will stay silent.
What we create will say everything.

If you look, Then you will have heard all I have to say.
As you walk away you will realize:
"The Impossible is Possible"

You may no longer say that all is evil.
Through your eyes you have seen proof of good in the world.

As long as it is preserved to see.
It will speak forever...

I should Get started

BY STEPHEN "OTTER" OTTEN
I am still here,
so there is more the hand wishes me to do.

I should get started.

I've been around the world to help,
but I understand.

I had to do what I did.
I saw all I needed to see.
I lost all that I lost,
So I could stand this day,

And say all I was meant to say.
