Most of my life has been spent trying to succeed. I have a tendency to confuse success with happiness, and work frantically to achieve every goal I set upon myself. Each time I arrive at the top, but empty. I understand that I have a condition, but I mean no harm in my success. I am here only to help. I have realized that living a normal life is not possible for me, so to do well for others is my only choice. I guess this is why I have gone from being a Navy SEAL to pursuing a career in the arts.
Art is my final journey in life. To understand form, and not to replicate, but to harmonize myself with nature is my last goal.
I have turned from a boy chasing success, to a man who cannot sleep, but lay frantically thinking about the greatest questions in life. Although I know I can accomplish anything I set my mind to, I know I will someday end without complete answers. I will set my mind entirely on one thing, because that is my nature, and that is what I am best at. I cannot beat myself, but only embrace my fault or talent to do good for others.
I will struggle with this one until the end. I am sure there will be times that I appear to be doing well, but I am never satisfied. I am a perfectionist and the disposition propels me forward with an erratic hunger for knowledge. I am prepared to learn all I can in order to one day render my thoughts with accuracy in the marks with or within my medium.
Peace within myself may never be possible, but one thing is certain. I will continue to break forward through the realm of frustrations to get closer to truth…
